Donut peaches are shaped like donuts (or the rings of Saturn). This variety has more going than just their unique shape: donut peaches are consistently sweeter, less acidic, and more peachy than conventionally shaped stone fruits.

 

Uses: Donut peaches can be substituted whenever conventional peaches are called for. They can (and should) be eaten chilled and plain to enjoy the full peach experience.

 

Peaches will soften and become more succulent as they ripen. Eat peaches at your own preferred texture.
